The Osceola National Forest is over that way. There is camping, hiking and boating there. It could be a day trip, over nighter or longer. The group site is for up to 50 people. Although I've never been there, the web site has some good information. Just a thought!

Depending on when & where I might be able to make it. I'm not new to camping, but a nubie when it comes to Hammocks. Still waiting on a WBBB after ordering. Learning to lighten my camping load.
As soon as I get a few practice overnighters under my belt I'll be good to go & meeting other like minded people. Me mostly solo camping.
And also mentioning I'm coming UP from South Florida, Ft Myers area. But doable with enough notice.

I have some gear that I would like to clear out. When this meet and greet happens, I'll bring it to see if anyone is interested to buy or swap. It's nothing too spectacular but som one might need/want it, and no shipping!
