Winter is coming !
And with that the temperature drops.
The shockcord to my WB wYeti doesn't handle the cold very well,
the hole UQ sags because the shockcord loses the elasticity in the cold.

I read some where that Shug solved this problem by attaching carabiners on the ridge line, he then run the UQ suspension throw them to get a more aggressive angle for the suspension.

Apparently this worked well for most hammocks with out mosquito net,
but it didn't work that well on the WB BB.

For this reason, someone very clever
invented the triangle that Arrowhead now sells as UQ Triangle Thingies .

But with both these solutions, the suspension will be in the way from time to time.

So, i am looking for a cold weather resistant shockcord/tubing!
In the freezer it is -8C and i am aiming for -30C
I have tested latex tubing and silicon tubing in the freezer.
The latex freeze stiff, the silicon seems to handle the cold better.
Is silicon tubing the way to go?
Anyone got any ideas?
