I have known Joe since he was only making syl stuff sacks and the syl Zilch pack, I have bought a lot of gear off him through out the years and have cuben tarps by him as well. Heck he was making custom gear for me before before you even had the slightest hint it may end up on his webstore a year or two later. Trust me his gear is top notch and have no fear his stuff holds up very well. He is always more then friendly and if you have any doubts he is more then willing to "fix" the problem.

Give it chance first.

had a few days to mess around with it... SpinnUL is very noisy after being broken in. I got the Cuben broken in from another member here and it is definitely MUCH quieter.

Also to be noted it does take some effort to pack the cuben in the stuff sack supplied. It fits but a little forcing is required.

Thanks for posting this info. I'm quite interested in a cuben tarp and ZPacks is my first choice. When you get a chance, can you post a pic with the tarp in its stuff sack along with a common item for size comparison (maybe a Coke can)?
