    Two new NA's

I just picked up two NA's for me ,and my son. He is moving up from cub's to boy scouts this winter. We had a weekend trip with one of the troops he is looking into. We hung them parellel to each other, and over laped the tarps in the center giving us a base camp. My son loves it. He slept like a rock. I felt a little cramped. I think I should have gotten the 150 with the spreader bars. Is there any way to add them, or tie it open in the center like the WB.
I guess I could just eat the 12%, and reorder a 150, but I would rather not waist the money. Other then feeling cramped it was great. I slept well with no back ach in the AM.

I decided to send the two NA back in excange for two 150's. I will also not get a tarp with them. Insted I will order two superflies with doors. I think this set up will be better for the way I want to set up camp.

I think that's a really smart decision. The "NX series" hammocks are leaps and bounds ahead of the North American model, IMO.

I've never cared for any of Clark's tarps, and I think an aftermarket tarp is the only way to go with any of the Clark hammock models.

    Enjoy!

I ordered the Vertex right off

I kinda like it for a late spring/summer/fall tarp.

But for winter I think I like the floor-less tent like lookin' one
    w/door flaps on each end.

I think I saw one with a couple of rods that held the sides out, instead of guys . . .

    . . . remember . . . I don't like a lot of guys around my camp

Doors, and pullouts. I think it is the one I ordered. The superfly. It should do the trick.

Nice set up, be sure to send new photos when you get the new ones. I am still trying to convence my 16 year old Eagle Scout to convert to hammocks. It's starting to get to him, he slept in a HH at the last OA ordeal weekend.
