    Ion-Mask by P2i waterproofing.

The dwf on the tq (SummerBurrow) and uq (WB Yeti) did their job. But like most finishes will eventually need refreshing. P2i claims their Ion-Mask nanotech waterproofing is more or less permanent, invisible to sight & feel, adds no measurable weight, maintains the fabrics inherent character except adds waterproofing.

Anyone with experience using this product? Nike, K-Swiss, & HiTech footwear are the only products that I know of that use the ion-mask. Sounds like the "ideal" waterproofing for fabric used in hammock gear. At surface level this product looks like it would make Gore, eVent, silicone impreg obsolete.

The product sounds impressive from the way it is described on their website. However, it would appear it is an OEM supply product ONLY, and used by end goods manufacturers to treat their products. I cannot find any references online to any place that sells IonMask as a consumer product in and of itself.
