Base camp tarp need advice

I like the shape of the Kelty Noaha 16, but its big, and heavy. The Estowa's largest is 10x12. It may be big enough? What do you think of this. I know its heavey to. Is there anything at least 12x14, and lite? Thanks for all the ideas.

Not sure about "light", but here's an option in the size you requested:

Chinook 12 x 14

It's not in stock right now, but they restock on and off throughout the year. I grabbed one because we mainly car camp and wanted a bigger tarp to use for a gathering spot away from the hammocks.

I understand they aren't being sold anymore, but if you can get your hands on a used Guide Gear 12 x 12 it's also an excellent choice. Lighter than the above tarp and slightly smaller, but it's my tarp of choice since I can't afford another right now.

Need a "big" lightweight tarp? One supplier often overlooked is Cooke Custom Sewing. They make stock sizes from 8'x10' to 15'x15'...all in two different weights of silnylon fabric.
