    Those kids look uncomfortable in that thing. Neither one of my kids (7 and 4) would fit in it.

    way too small.

    I have made mine 6'+x~4' with good results for my 3yr old. 7.25'x4.4' would fit a 4' person the same as a 11'x6.6' hammock would fit a 6' person. I tend to base it off the person's size compared to my size and know comfortable hammock. If they are 2/3 my size i make the hammock 2/3 the size of mine. Perhaps not perfect but a good start.

    I just make my kids regular sized hammocks. I figure they will grow into them, and they get tons of hammock space in the meantime... makes it easier to fit underquilts to them correctly as well.

    I was thinking about getting one of those for my smaller border collie (one of my furry kids) to hang her right above me. She'd stay a lot warmer.
