Zing-It Lash-It Price too good to be true???

Found this on a google pricing search while looking for the best price:

    https://twinsrecreation.3dcartstores.com/fs172282.html

    600ft for $.34?

Probably a typo huh? Well, I took advantage of it just in case. What's the worst that can happen?

It did cost $7+ for shipping though.

I'm guessing that's the cost per foot. If you look at all four products in that 'category', you'll see the full 180' spools are on sale for $50-60, while the two other products are on sale at 30 and 34 cents, down from regular price of 31 and 36 cents, respectively.

What about this? Target Line Throw Line per the site "Target Line is a new economy throw line from the makers of the excellent Fling-It throw line. Target Line is 1/8” diamond braid polyethylene line, and is manufactured to be extremely slick to slide easily through the canopy. Target Line is more tightly braided than other economy throw lines such as Slick Line, to reduce snagging. Target Line has a neon orange and yellow striped pattern which really makes it easy to spot in the trees."

Diamond braid is usually not spliceable if that matters to you.

So who does have the best pricing on Zing-it and Lash-It. I'm thinking about picking some up to play with tarp tieouts and the like.

I was given some of this line. The line is really slick and you have to be very careful with what knots you choose to use to prevent slipage. From my experience with it. I agree with Nacra533 this line it is not spliceable. I would not rate it as being very suitable for hammock or tarp purposes.

It still appears that reddenmarine still has the best prices for zing-it, lash-it, and is amongst the best for AMsteel. That along with the small discount they give forum members, I ended up ordering 180ft from them. Even using priority mail, it only took 2 days to get here.

this is what I wound up doing as well. 2.2 Lash-It and some other odds and ends. I made up some Prussic 'biners last night.
