    Hey guys,
what do you make of this material. It is definitely printed on one side. The description states it ripstop. What weight?

It's impossible to tell without more info, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's probably 1.9. 1.1 would be harder to tell if it was printed on only one side, since it's much thinner. Might be coated, making it look lighter or darker on the back, so check the breathability if you're gonna get it for something specific (breathable=good for hammock, non-breathable=good for tarp).
That's about all I can think to tell ya.

    Good luck,

    Thanks a,

I admit I did the breath test in the store, but I also tested others and am getting old and don't remember which it was.

I found a coupon for HFab and will try to pick some up.

It's 1.9 DWR. They also have some with a heavy urethane coating.

I just made a hammock (single layer, gathered end / HH clone style) from this same fabric I purchased at my local Hancock store. I weighed the fabric and it is 1.9 oz ripstop and is not dwr coated - at least mine is not coated. It is high quality good material and although I bought it at $7.99 because it was available, local and no shipping, it is an even better deal at this sale price. I may go buy more!

Cool, thanks for the info. I want to pick up some of that and some of the black. I really like the way the black tarps have turned out.

It is priced $5.59 on the website and $7.99 in the store. Do they honor the online price in the store. If so, that and the 40% that expires today will be just about right.

    have a good'un.
