Is zing it only available online or might I find it at a nursery or the like?

Might want to ask the tree workers around your area. Lookup cordage or rope in your yellow pages or online. You could try West Marine if you are in an area that is close to water. Other than that I can't think of anywhere else that might stock it locally.

I just made up a couple of loops of 2mm line from Campmor ("Power Rope") to Klemheist on my whoopie for hanging my UQ. A Prusik wasn't holding until I really firmed it up and messed with it. The Klemheist worked first try (and is a better choice when you know the knot will need to resist pull in only one direction).
