Hey! My first hang was on a 2' too short bedsheet as well. It sucked (YMMV), but not nearly as much as the ground . +1 on the Shug-love as well!

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to hearing future adventures.
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

Thanks everyone, I've been learning as much about hammocks as possible. It's fun being like a kid again, just a sponge with information in every place I look on the forums here. Shug Whooooooo Buddy, just finished your tarp video for the second time.

There is a fair amount of love for Shug here on the forum. Welcome to the club and its not and obsession its an uncurable addiction that requires lots of re-hab in the woods. Have fun making the hammock and tarps that appear to be in your future and please post pics of the completed projects.

Hey .... I love me too!!!!!
    Just fooling around ......
If anything I hope these lil' amateur videos inspire folks to just "get into it" and get outdoors. That is all.
In a hammock .... even better.

I think I technically found the forum first, but the first thread I opened was one that had a link to a Shug video. Ditto on staying up late watching the WBV collection. Very informative and fun.
The bad news is, kinda like getting an old song in your head, I now find myself talking like Carl Childers more than I'd like. (Coffee makes me nervous when I drinks it, mm-hmm.)

    Welcome, from another noob.
