    Quick setup tarp suspension?

I hope this belongs in the Suspension Systems rather than the Tarp forum. I wasn't sure where to post it.

OK, so here is the question.

I have two tarps now (WB Edge and BWDD Winter), and more on the way since I've got my thread injector working. I have zero tarp suspension setups. Right now I'm just using some cheap rope and mason line in my testing facility (side yard ).

What I'm looking to do is put together something that is quick to setup and adjust. I'm not super worried about weight (I went adjustable straps on my WBBB for example), but I can't imagine whatever I make coming up as heavy.

I have some 7/64 amsteel blue and a bunch of S biners, I figured I'd start there unless there is a better idea. I'm just not sure how to put this together where it will be quick to setup and adjust, tight, and not harm the trees. Would long woopie setups work? Any DIY tarp ridgeline guides I could follow?

    Thanks in advance!

I use the single line with prussics as shown here. It's just too easy...

I have a single ridgeline with a beiner on one end and a small figure 9 on the other end to tighten the Zing-It ridgeline. The hammock is attached to the ridgeline with prussicks and nacra-beiners. I could do away with the beiner on the one of the ridgeline and replace it with a nacra-beiner, will probbly do that this weekend.

Hey Shug. Are you still running an under-ridgeline for your winter tarps, or are you over-ridgeline for everything now?

It's probably overkill to use the 7/64th Amsteel for this setup, huh? Zing-It is more appropriate?

Under only in frozen winter .... I have had drips in rain with and under the tarp in fall.
Lately ... I am back to just going off the ridgeline ends again. Just easier to adjust for me.
I use Speer No-Tangle. zing it would be fine. Amsteel is over-kill in my opinion but would for sure work.

Thanks again, Shug. I think I found my missing link (literally). The soft shackle prussic was what I was imagining in my head. I just need to order some Zing-It/Lash-It and practice splicing.

Thanks again for your videos. They've been very helpful.
