    Avatars

I wanna start by saying that this is a great idea.

I was wondering if the great gods of the website (moderators) would be enabling the use of avatars? Could we post our own?
    Peace,
    Joe

    Thanks attroll,

I use a picture of my recently departed best friend (same one on Rock's site). He would have been 15 this month, but i had to put him down a couple weeks ago.
    Peace,
    Joe

I am having to get rid of my dog. The house is sold and I have to move. I can't take the dog where I am going. Does this mean I have to change my avatar? I don't know if I can stand to look at my pooch in effigy on my desktop and avatars. sniff sniff.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

it is serious pain loosing your best friend....working in a hospital for 27 years you can get immune to human loss--crazy i know but its a protective mechanism...when i hear of the loss of a dear friend who is a pet it hurts me, still remember crying after i put down a samoyed who'd been with me 14 years-best friend i ever had (he drunk me under the table once too).

I am not having to put him down. But he does have to go back to rescue. even so... he's been a good pet. But tonight he ate 3/4 of a meat loaf which was supposed to provide lunches for my wife and daughter this week. Stinking beastie.
