you only have a problem if you think you do; start gifting the GF with the fruits of your labor- "i made this just for you!" and see if she will join you up in the air... KM

I just can not get enough HF

My wife is starting to also think that i have a problem. I have been reading posts here for about a month but only registered last week. She thinks that the hammock camping thing is taking over my life. She might be right but at least she knowns where to find me in the basement.

LOL, Glad to know that I am not alone! My wife tells all her friends that I have a Hammock problem since I keep HF up on the computer all day, every day. I told her that she has a Hammock problem because I am fine with it! Heck I am a slacker, 1 hammock, Sleeping bag mod and a Noah12 on its way. When I mention woopie slings my wife gets all excited until I head to the back yard! lol Thanks guys this place is great!

Thinks? No, she knows. She's right, but that's OK. I have a constant series of requests for custom hammocks... mostly from kids... I'm up to 8 hammocks, custom made for kids, 3 for myself, plus all the other accessories: ring buckles, chain links, straps (used LOTS of mule tape), UQ, TQ, etc.

I could stop at anytime... really... now leave me alone so I can get this next one done... but I could... yeah...

I know the feeling with the GF. The past few days I have had material laying about and the thread machine on the dining table. I did catch a glare or two.

She did like that I fixed a tear in her pants, made her a pack cover, and will attempt to hem her new pants tonight(and save her $15).

    Lots of projects, limited skills.

My addiction is running to thread injectors. I now have 2. The last one is a Singer Slant Stitch 404, this is the straight stitch only model. Now I've just got to have a 500-A and a 401-A or maybe a 403...might collect the whole set before I'm done. I check Craig's List every day. Have found several but the price vs. distance ratio needs to be just right. What can I say, I love machinery.

Skip the magazine, sign up for the monthly sales flyer. Generally there is at least one 40% off coupon each month, often there is a 50% off... Have a non-DIY friend sign up as well using your address and double your fun.
