    addiction taking over vs. discount

alright, after my 10th hammock i decided "this is it", but then----- i realize(after a lot of full price fabric i might add), that it you buy the magazine at jo-anns you get a lot of nice discount cupons in the back(33-50 percent!)sooo--diy bridge, here i come!!

Yes, there is, but this is it and we don't recommend quitting. Our leader above is leading us like lemmings to the cliff. There is no turning back.

    Well then, that's better.
10 DIY and 5 commercial rigs and you've only been a member here since June? I believe you have some potential. Gonna have to keep my eye on you.

    Why stop now?

I don't have a problem...I just purchased my first hammock and received it Tuesday. Before it even came in I jumped on the Hennessey demo sale and snagged an Expedition, a few snake skins, a large hex fly, and an over cover...I can honestly say though that I was sleeping my first night in my hammock before the money for the second one hit the bank! I've got a few pads and am on my way to making my own UQ. I don't think my money knew what hit it!

Skip the magazine, sign up for the monthly sales flyer. Generally there is at least one 40% off coupon each month, often there is a 50% off... Have a non-DIY friend sign up as well using your address and double your fun.

you only have a problem if you think you do; start gifting the GF with the fruits of your labor- "i made this just for you!" and see if she will join you up in the air... KM

I just can not get enough HF

My wife is starting to also think that i have a problem. I have been reading posts here for about a month but only registered last week. She thinks that the hammock camping thing is taking over my life. She might be right but at least she knowns where to find me in the basement.
