    simple hammock??

Hey all, I am coming to you all for your wonderful infinite wisdom again..
I have a Clark and a warbonnet hammock. My son uses the Clark and I use the great B.B. But my question is I am looking for another hammock but kinda don't like the wrap that the Clark gives ya, although it is a nice hammock just not my cup of tea.. Don't like being wrapped like a bureto. So I was wonder what kind should I get I like the flat diagnal lay, but also like to see the sights from the sides. So with that said I will wait for the wisdom to flow and drink some more coffee,,, Have a great day

Bridge hammock has the lowest sides.
Any wide hammock will will have a high side when laid in on the diagonal...just the nature of the beast.

Great field of vision from my Eureka Chrysalis when I stow the tent top. Pretty flat, too.

A simple top loader is an ideal project for a quick DIY. You can finish it in an hour without difficulty once the fabric and suspension are on hand.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Well, since you've already got the BB and a Clark...
I also have a Hennessey Expedition Asym with zippers instead of the bottom entry. I've found that when I'm laying in it, that one side is easier to see out of than the other side. Also, if I'm just hanging out in it, I'll usually have a bit more under my head and that tends to cause me to see out a bit more on that one side. If I'm backpacking, I just don't have enough "stuff" to use as a maga sized pillow. But if I'm camping with the scouts, I usually will have a "real" pillow and extra clothes, that I can use as a pillow. I've found that unless I'm sort of sitting up somewhat that I can't see much out the sides of my hammocks.

A regular whipped hammock will fill the bill if you don't pull the edges before you whip. The sides will droop just enough to rest your head on and look out. That's how I like mine.
