"ego" search?

On another forum I belong to there is a link for "your posts" in addition to "new posts".

Possible to add to HF?

I like it because I try to respond to questions/comments generated by my posts in a timely fashion. And, although it is possible to replicate the "ego search" via the advanced search function, it is a matter of a number of separate steps.

I like the idea. It gives you a quick look at the threads you have authored, if not posted in.

It's not very obvious, but if you go to your own profile and click on the statistics tab, you will see links to your posts, and posts you have started. Hth.

If you click on your own name (in this thread for instance), there's a 'Find more posts by E.A.Y.' option.

I use User CP for that purpose... by default, when I post to a thread, I am subscribed. With User CP, I view all subscribed threads, so I keep up with what's posted in response to my drivel.

Also if you do a search for your name it will bring up the latest threads that you chatted in. Also helpful to find out if someone was tallking trash about you.
