Just thought I would bump this thread and see if there is still some interest in a trip in December?

I am still interested in a get possible overnighter with a short hike on a Sat/Sun.

I am still intersted, but it may be about 2 weeks before I can commit. Scheduling, and alot depends on what the family does for Thanksgiving. I will keep everyone posted. I may (or may not) have a ground dweller also (#1 son, as we only have 1 hammock, but he is set up well and happy in a tent; now, if anyone had a hammock and UQ he could borrow, we would be stylin!).

BS:
If you are able to make it I have a Skeeter Beeter Pro that he could borrow and a recently completed DIY UQ. Let me know, I have somehow managed to make a collection out of this obsession!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! I have an SB Pro that I use, so that would be great. Our scout troop will be coming off a 16 mile, 2 night backpack trip the weekend before, so that may end up affecting my attendance.
I will keep you posted.

I've been delaying a post on this. I'm interested, but can't commit because it is the weekend between anniversary and wife's birthday. That may actually work out well, but know better than to ask permission. yet (yeah, I'm whipped). I'll have a better idea closer to the date. Hope it works out, 'cause I could use some exposure to some experienced hammockers.
Looking forward to talking with some experienced hangers myself. I have so much to learn.

Count me in!!
OK. So have we decided to go to Cheaha? On December 10, 11, 12. Is this right?
Let's verify location and date so we can move forward with the planning and coordination.
