Just Ordered The Katahdin

Just ordered a Katahdin from Jacks R Better today. This product looks awesome and I think it will supplement my IX UQ as an additional insulating layer for cold winter nights...quite nicely!

I also like how it could serve as a TQ if I need it to be.

Many thanks to Jack for helping me figure out the overstuff of this quilt. I ordered it with 2 ounces of overstuff that should give me a fluffy 4 inches of loft!

These are great people to deal with and excellent to talk to over the phone!

Saying the Katahdin will supplement an IX UQ is like saying your steak will supplement your salad. I wish I were small enough to use one of those alone. I can clear the 38" waist requirement, but I'm not clearing the 42" jacket part.

Post some pics! I've only seen the large quilts on their web site.
