Hey Hammock Hangers,

Nice vid from Texas! Looks likes thousands of hanging sites there!
Very nicely done video. I'd like to get down to Texas sometime for some hiking and camping. Maybe a winter trip to get a break from the snow up here.

Very nice! I've never been down to the Lone Star Trail (4C Trail is as far south as I've hiked in TX). I'll have to get the wife to join me for a drive south for a long weekend in the woods.
Thanks for sharing.
Any guidebook you use for the Lone Star Trail?

Thanks Babelfish. Nice trip.
Ya know, from what I hear about wild pigs, I think I'd feel more concern about those roaming around my hammock than bears or most anything else.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Yes you do.... sorta. I didn't want to throw that in the video. Most of the wild pigs are only 120 pounds or so and afraid of humans. But there are some monster pigs (Hogzilla's). I shot a 465 pound pig hunting near the trail last year. Any pig over 300 or so pounds isn't afraid of ANYTHING. Not even a human.
But if you give them their space, they will give you yours. Don't do anything stooooopid like poke them with a stick or throw rocks at them and your fine. Oh, and pigs do not bluff charge.
I don't recall hearing about anyone getting hurt by pigs in a very long time, but people do get chased every now and then.
Remember what Winston Churchill said and you'll be fine. "Cats look down on you, dogs look up to you but pigs, they treat you as equals."

Nice job on the video! I nominate you to be the official videographer of the 2010 (2nd Annual) Texas Fall Group Hang!
