CoolKayaker, I am not sure that your link worked out. It is of arsonhammockhanger making his Noah 12 into a burrito tarp shelter but nothing with a lady and stuff sacks. However, it was informative and I like the many options this tarp brings with it.

I've got a Noah 9. That was about the perfect size for a diamond pitch, and the sides can be staked directly to the ground. I don't know how useful a 12 would be for me as the diamond affords pretty good coverage.
I like the Noah 9, but i don't like the weight, so I bought a sil Gargoyle diamond that is about the same size as my 9 but almost 2/3 lighter.
I took a bunch of boys out this past weekend and set my Noah 12 up in a square and I it was love at first set up! I love the cut and the way it hangs. No regrets dumping the Wally World Special, thats for sure! Posted pics..
You'll never run out of ways to pitch that thing! I think if they made a Kelty 10.5 that would be about perfect since the 9 is to short for a rectangular pitch and the 12 requires the trees be in separate time zones to pitch diagonal.Originally Posted by slackmacker
