Great video. I have never seen a serger working. Does serging help keep a seam from failing or is it just to keep a cut edge neat?

Creativekayt; that machine looks like a beast, I really wish I could sew and make my hammocks. That is a skill I never obtained threw life, I tip my hat off to ya, and also how did the hammock come out?
I am in complete love with it. I've still got to add the bug netting and I decided not to do a foot box, as I need to educate myself on them, but I had a great weekend out, despite ragin' rain and wind. I stayed dry and warm! I'm furiously editing video, which includes a trip report of the field test.
