The diamond/lanyard knot is fairly easy to learn. A video on this site uses a technique to help visualize the sequence for noobies.

BTW, nice detail that you appear to be wearing one of the Kalibiners as a fashion statement, or perhaps it is a convenient storage place, on the wrist.
