New Synthetic UQ in the Armada of Warmth

Well .... had some extra 3.0 oz layer of Primaloft Sport (I think it is) sitting around and some ripstop so whipped up my first synthetic UQ .... I still need to sew in the quilting loops ..... maybe! Weighs 16 ounces in stuff-sack...
Will more than likely test it tonight. Gonna get to 34º or so.
It is one layer and feels pretty warm so far.
Just another UQ in the Armada of Warmth.......
Used the KAQ directions and modified here and there.

Yeah .... I guess it kinda is! Now I feel complete with a synth as well....

It is just one layer but it was the thick stuff... it may be this: 3.0 oz layer of Primaloft Sport (.6" loft; clo: 3.0*.74=2.22).

Great looking synth UQ. We used a set, based on a modified KAQ design, we finished last week at the MWL hang and used them down to 28*F. Had to supplement them at this temp with a single layer of Wally World blue CCF around the keister area. Attached is a view of mine on a WBBB.

Yeah Shug until next week all I own is synth quilts. I have two KAQ New Rivers that I used as an UQ and TQ until we got these made. Now they are both doing TQ duty for this winter here in the south. Soon there will be a down quilt in the arsenal, recent purchase from another HF member.
