I always pronounced it 'Heter-oy', but I think he pronounces it 'Heter-eye'. Like a lot of HF names, they are much harder to pronounce in person.

I just ignore some of the letters & pronounce it like the head man (redheaded guy w/ the sunglasses) on CSI Miami.

hehe, I have no idea how to pronounce it either. Wasn't a problem until I started meeting people from the internet in the woods
I've always liked that it has multiple meanings (kinda like the new motto) which boil down to "companion" or "drinking buddy".
As for winning, thanks to the mods, very happy my entry was chosen out of the many, many great possibilities.
Also think it's wonderful that they took a simple idea, changed it slightly and made it better. EXACTLY WHAT THIS COMMUNITY IS ALL ABOUT
