....first hang!!
Got moved into the new quarters a few days ago. Put the padeyes up this morning and hung the traveler. I'm using PX carabiners (22kn strength) and whoopies, but I'm going to put the huggers between the padeyes and whoopies since it's a bit higher than I'd like it to be (side of the hammock was at butt level and RL was bowstring tight).
Slid the G.I. sleeping pad between the layers and threw a velour blanket in, then carefully got in. After some wiggling around, I found a good, comfortable lay. Took me a good while to actually get to sleep, but it was surprisingly refreshing for all of being short (only 4 hours or so).
No CBS (in fact, actually sweated up a bit - maybe the pad, or being wrapped in the blanket top/bottom?), no knee pain...and more importantly, no sore back when I got up!
I'm liking it!!
