Big Papi = what my wife calls me when she wants to some "fun". - no, I am not hispanic. I have lots of nicknames, but no real "trail names". The funniest nickname was "cheeseburger". I played semi pro football for 8 years and one season my quarterback would bring me cheeseburgers before each game so that I would keep him from getting smacked around. Kinda like "blocking fuel". Hand't heard the name in awhile until old linemate's daughter found me on facebook and called me that, kinda took me back a few years ago.

One day, someone will annoint me with a true, proper trail name. I look forward to that day.

I always kind of thought Ramblinrev was self-explanatory until someone told me they thought it came from revving Ramblers (later AMC) Aside from the fact I don't have much interest in cars... I still maintain it makes sense as a trailname for a hiking clergy.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Bit of a misnomer actually, though I've probably eaten more weeds than anyone I know, I don't actually know that much about them. But I have some interest in wild edibles, bugs, fish, critters, and weeds. '64 was an awesome year.

I climb trees for a living and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Canadian dime has a picture of a world famous racing schooner the "Bluenose" so people from N.S. are called "bluenosers". When I traveled internationally competing as a tree climber my fellow climbers found out that I was a Bluenoser and began to call me the Bluenose Climber and it stuck. My children climb so we are the "Bluenose Climbers"

not a trail name but a few years back when i was fighting MMA and a youth pastor the guys in the gym called me the pastor of disaster. I hated that one. Now i am neither a pastor or a fighter so it no longer applies, hallelujah!
