So I had to have a camo Blackbird... and I needed to justify the extravagant ($30) craigslist thread injector :-) I attached my notes as a word .doc The "Warbird" is out for it's maiden flight this weekend, so pics are on the way!

Waiting for pics!
I'm thinking about making a "Snowbird" for my winter camping.
Nicely laid out. Thanks for the instructions. Definitely looking forward to pics!
I might just have to give this project a shot...

Any chance you can post your document in pdf format? When I open in Word part of the instructions are pushed off the page, probably a font issue.
I'm intrigued by the idea of a Snowbird hammock. Wonder if anyone makes snow camo ripstop?

I just got my DIY BB made. After seeing all the work that goes into one of these, I think I may buy my next one. Of course, now that I have all the shapes and sized of the parts, especially the bug net, it would be much faster. I'll post a picture soon.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
This looks like a good use for the 10 yards of WalMart 1.9 ripstop I scored the other day. Sasquatch Bird!
