    Tubular stuff sack

Not sure where to put this.
I'm trying to find a long skinny stuff sack. Roughly 8 x 27 or so.
Rather than put my hammock, UQ, protector and bug net in separate sacks, I've found it fast and handy to leave them all hooked up and just shove them in the pack. Trouble is, it takes up a lot of room. So, I'd like to try putting it all in a sack that attaches outside of the pack.
If I can't find a source, I might try to make one.
Any suggestions for sources or how to go about making one?

Both those ideas look great, but, if you want to sling it on the outside of your pack, don't you want to use a fabric that is waterproof? Or could you just use a packliner inside of the stuff sack? I like the price and simplicity of getting the Big Pig myself, but I would hate to pack my quilt and UQ in there, strap it to the outside of my pack and then get my quilts soaked.

You would need waterproof fabric with a roll top closure like a dry bag to effectively keep any water out. Condensation then becomes an issue.

The pack is a new to me Jansport Carson 90L and everything fits. It all fit in a smaller but heavier pack, thus the desire for the new one. But I'm more worried about the pressure on the zippers during the actual cramming in phase. I'm used to military packs that can take it. These commercial ones seem less robust. Maybe I'm just overcritical.
If I can keep some items outside in a sack running the length of the pack, that seems like a good alternative.

As I said, the pack is still new to me, so I have to experiment more with loading it.
