iv been reading about footbox's an im sold on the idea just to make sure iv got the right idea i drew this up is it right ?
then i wondered if other shapes would work too and maybe better? like a half circle or a half hexagon.
have any of you tried any of these ?

Never been in one with a footbox? I am curious how the other ideas turn out.

I found a footbox works well on a hammock where you tend to slip your feet over the edge... It keeps everything nice and contained. I was thinking of trying a wide, short triangle...
The only downside is that it significantly reduces the length of that side, so you're forced to enter and exit from the non-footbox side...
One person here actually put a zipper in the side of his hammock as an entry/exit...
