[QUOTE=pedro;337639] Thanks to Iafte and Oh-No for grilling duties at the dinner. "
Hey Pedro, a thank you too for your grilling expertise, and the footwear making workshop.
I had a great time as usual. You just can't find a better group of folks.
Thank you too all who donated, helped out, and just showed up with great
attitudes.
I was one of the last hangers to leave the campsite, (and talk about leave no trace) you would not have known one person spent the weekend there, let alone 45+ of us. Impressive.
Dancer and I are home, have cleaned up, had dinner and are now working on gear sorting and cleaning. We both had a great time once again. The people at these hangs make it very much worth the drive for both of us.
On a separate note, we scored a set of JRB mini-biners, a PapaSmorf bug net and a Speer 8x10 tarp. The raffle was a lot of fun, but raising money for HF was the best part of all. Many, many thanks to all who made this hang happen. See y'all again next time.

He buddy, look no further; I've got it. I did an LNT sweep and called out but everyone had left camp. Down to the parking lot I traipsed, asking the stragglers. We concurred 'twas abandoned, so I thought it best to date the chex mix by taste, which we all did. FWIW it's slightly stale so I thought it had been abandoned pre-hang.
Sorry, I really don't want the wrath of someone named The Man, The Myth, and the Legend!! PM your address and I'll mail it to you.
Knotty, I didn't see my scissors on the van tire, so I assume you have them. Donate them to someone/school in need ... though it would make a good gag gift at the next hang.
Had a great time; more later.

4Outdoors and I are home after a great time at Mahha and a quick tour of Harpers Ferry. Beautiful day!
Thanks to everyone who brought and made the food for us all.
Thanks to all who shared their ideas, inventions, and creations.
Thanks to all who worked behind the scenes procuring the pavilion, setting up the raffle, organizing us all and most likely .....cleaning up after us.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in the spring, if not before in Mt Rogers. Stay tuned on the Pine Grove Furnace SP April 2011 hang.

Awesome hang-time! My first group hang was quite thee experience. It was exciting meeting everyone in person after seeing just names in the forums. Thanks to everyone for the delicious food, great companionship, and all the knowledge & experience you all shared with me & each other…inspiring. I’ll be anticipating the next hang for sure. I hope to have a sewing machine sometime in the near future so as to start a wonderful addiction with DIY. I’m sure there will be many “enablers” along the way
Of course, the raffle was fun because I won a peak bag (2QZQ) and whoopie slings (JRB). Peak bag already tested & approved. Whoopie sling conversion…already in progress!
Thanks again everyone
Had a great time talking to old friends and meeting new ones & putting faces with names. Now to get ready for the Gorge.
On a side note: Dan, I have your red cooler & the Stella that was left. PM me with your address & I will send you the cooler. It's a shame I cant mail the beer
Beer won't solve problems, but then again, neither will milk !
