Actually, we were discussing how to design a modular tarp for enclosing a Tensegrity Stand.

Well, sort of, amateur herpetologist at best. It was a Black Rat Snake,
It had the wrong head shape for a king snake, but (not visible in the picts.) the keeled scales and divided anal plate were the definitive characteristics. Oh, and it tasted like chicken. ;-)

Though I have caught the occasional docile BRS, as Mac indicated most are
aggressive biters when held. This one was cold which explains it's docility.
It didn't even eject musk, which (trust me) is far worse than it's bite.
A bite is a few pinpricks, but getting musked is nasty.

looks like the squirels found it
We had a squirrel stealing zip lock bags of food off the picnic tables at the Hot Springs Hang. We chased the squirrel twice and were able to recover the food before it made it up the tree.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Hope to make the next one.

That stand is very intriguing...... with a tarp it would be quite a lil' Nirvana.

White with some dark mottling at the anterior, blending into uniformly

I'm not a herpetologist but I did stay in a nice hotel last night (not really)
It's a Black Rat Snake. I'd stake my reputation on it
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Velcro received his trail name at MAHHA this year and it's not hard to guess how.
