So sorry about Nube. Express our condolences to Alex, too. Nube looks like he was full of life. Truly tragic.

I am very sorry for you and your friends loss. I am happy for you that you found him to say good by.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. - E. B. White (1899 - 1985)

I am so sorry for your loss. My wife and I struggle over taking Bear on overnighters for just this reason...

I truly understand how difficult of a situation this is.

My wife and I recently had a baby and my best friend, Tigger Cat didn't take to well to the baby. He began to treat the house as his litter box. Finally, knowing what I had to do for my family, I had a friend come get Tigger and take him to a no kill shelter. It was without a doubt the hardest thing i've ever had to do. Tigger and I were best buddies since 2002. I fondly remember having to build a ramp so he could climb into his litter box. Every night Tigger would sleep next to me, he would follow me around the house and was never out of my site.

Just like you and Nube - I will never forget Tigger. I love him so much.
