    I have only done the MRT solo .. It is truly peaceful. I would possibly be interested in a winter hike. Depends on what the expected temps are and where I could push my gear ... Would have to bring out the heavy gear.

    Hey its not that funny, I was out with the Manatee's Sunday all day. They're all over the place in Pine Island Sound, Southwest Florida. Looks like old-men Walrus snouts coming up for air. Huge, beautiful animal.
    ...."Manistee" does look like it though.

    We have muskies in Muskegon, and Manatee in Mattawan, mink in Montague, Elk in Edwardsburg....but not in Manistee.
