I rarely camp in temperature below 20*F, so a 3-season uq could be enough for me. Since I camp mostly in the fall and spring but sometimes in the winter and summer, would it be better to get a winter uq and try to vent it in the summer, or get a 3-season uq and try to supplement it in the winter? Would either technique even work?

I'd go with the 3 season. Either add a little overstuff or go with the 900 fill.
It's only an addiction if you're trying to quit

Thanks for all the advice! This forum is truly a vault of information!

I've decided to go with the 3-season, possibly with some over-stuff. I should be able to add an extra pad or something if necessary on my rare ventures into sub 20*F nights, but I will be comfortable without that for the majority of my camping in the 30-40 range!

My only question left is whether to go with the Incubator or Crowsnest? I don't usually carry a pad with me, so I'm leaning towards the simplicity of using an Incubator as my only under insulation. The added bulk and weight don't bother me since I usually just go on over-nighters. Do either of these fit better/worse on a WBBB?

is there a link or somewhere i can see this suspension in greater detail?
