    A question for yeti users.

The description on Warbonnet's site says the yeti comes down to the knees. It also says the shape is tapered narrower near the bottom end. Is there any issues with pulling your knee out the the side in a "figure 4" kind of shape? Does your knee slip on and off the quilt much as you move it around?

if you spread your knees too wide, they can be wider than the width of the yeti UQ....and then they will be cold!

    been there, done that!

    Possibly.

I toss and turn a lot, and I sleep at such a diagonal that if I were any more asymmetrically laying, I'd have to stick my head out the zipper. So I found the Yeti to be too small for me on both width and length. (I'm also a bit wider than the average bear).

It's a great product, and if Warbonnet guy ever comes out with a full length 3S quilt, I'd be first in line!

I haven't had any issues with my legs going outside the warm area of my Winter Yeti unless I was trying to cool off.

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?

Yea, I've done the figure 4 position where my right leg is bent up against the side of my WBBB. My knee does go just above my UQ if I have too much of a bend in my leg. If it's really cold out, I just make sure to only have a slight bend in my leg.

How about the Arrowhead Equipment UQ Triangle Thingie to snug things up?

Or maybe the shock cord over the ridgeline trick Shug uses.

Yep...me too. For cooler weather, I will replace the Yeti with a Crow's Nest which is a bit wider. The same leg position issues are there with just about any UQ.
