Looks to have no added insulation with the pad and so I'd call it a bad choice in less than desert warm to hot.Add a closed cell foam pad in cold temperatures for extra insulation

I have the air core, which has the same rating (35 degrees) and found that I had to add the Sleeping Giant memory foam to keep from waking up with a chilly backside.
