JRB's Self Tensioning Ridge line cords?

The tarp that was given to me ( OES McCat Standard) came with self tensioning lines, which were pretty basic to figure out. The self tensioning Ridge line cords were confusing to me. How do you use those on a tree?

That is confusing, in that JRB does not make self tensionining ridge line cords....Our Self Tensioning Lines (STLs) are intended for any down tie out...JRB packages and recommends regular cords for the ridge line tie out themselves.... Hope this helps.
