I enjoy my hammock so much that sometimes I have a hard time sleeping in it. Laying in it watching the stars gets me every time.

I enjoy showing off my setup to hikers that have just set up their tent. They tend to be intrigued and come over to take a squander. Great way to make new friends and enjoy campfire conversations.

Secondly, being around other hangers that make their own gear. Spending hours looking and talking design concepts and and how easy it was to make it. Kinda makes me wish I had an ounce of Martha Stewart in me.

I agree, i often find myself at the Jupiter Inlet hanging from a couple of palm trees either reading a book, or playing my harmonica. Always a good time. Of course, the sleeping part that comes intermittently while doing reading and playing the harmonica is also very enjoyable.

Yep, I have found that to be true... being able to fire up the stove, make breakfast/coffee, contemplate the past and future... all while in the hammock; you can't beat that, you just can't beat it.
