SOLD: JRB Nest UnderQuilt w/2oz overstuff

I hate to sell this, it's good gear, but I'm going to be doing some deep winter hanging and this is the only way for me to afford a proper Winter Quilt at this time.

I recently received this JRB Nest from Just Jeff in an excellent trade deal. I've only used the Nest 4 nights, but I assume Jeff has several in it. It's the typical bright green on one side and black on the other, and has 2oz overstuff (I assume 800FP down). This will come with the suspension, and a (very special, limited edition, one of a kind!) double opening stuff sack I made myself. Jeff said the Nest is comfortable in the high 30's and acceptable in the low 30s. I was down to 34 last night and felt more limited by my Top Quilt, so I agree with his assessment.

    Jeff's page on the Nest:

    http://www.tothewoods.net/JRB.html

My photos of the Nest in use on my Warbonnet Blackbird (sorry for the crummy, early morning cell phone photos - I've not used the Nikon much lately)

Asking $210 - Shipping included to lower 48. I'd be happy to ship outside the US if you cover actual shipping.

I would also consider a trade towards a full length winter quilt since that's my ultimate goal right now is a quality deep winter UQ.

PM me with any questions or offers.

Techspaces, You might not have seen the PM response since the forum isn't correctly notifying people of messages. Feel free to E-mail me if PMs aren't working for you. The Quilt is yours if you want it.

For all non-cold blooded sleepers this UQ should be good to 25 or lower in a Hennessy, and with the Nest mated to the hammock's entrance slit, you won't have a cold spot under your legs. I traded for an older, lighter, 1.5in baffled (current production is 2in) that I shortened to 60 and added that down I removed to the torso baffles. I've slept down to the high 20's with that UQ. Get a JRB hood with the Vest/collar mod and this UQ will keep you warm into the teens with no problem.

That's funny you mention the hood. I used my Eddie Bauer jacket as a pillow/hood last night and it got down to 31 and I was very comfy. I still feel my TQ is limiting me right now, not the UQ.

    Bump!

Buyer flaked on a great trade deal, so this is still available.

I'm open to reasonable offers now...I'm looking forward to putting in my order with Stormcrow.

It is full length...but I'm going to be doing some Winter camping, so I'm having an "all options" full length Winter Quilt made for me.
