Not completely sure this is the best place to post this, so I apologize if it's the wrong forum. I'm pretty certain I'll be purchasing my first hammock this winter, and I'll be primarily using it for trips paddling through the boundary waters which is notorious for having a rather diverse range of weather. I'm concerned about my packs and gear that will go on the ground under the tarp. I know that I can lash it tight to the ground, but have you guys found that the water intrudes to any degree inside the tarps, and what do you do to lessen it's effects. Thanks, Strom
