I've (well my wifes been doing the sewing) been making my daughter a hammock for an upcoming weekend away and it is finally finished. Last night we had a test run in the backyard. All went well and the hammock seemed to do its job.
Next weekend it will hopefully get a real test. I'm chuffed to see the enjoyment she gets out of hanging, I just hope it lasts!
Congrats on the DIY project, and what a nice picture that is. My kids still get a kick out of hanging(even at home) at age 5 and 10.
