    Dumb question ..... does the Traveler have the footbox like the blackbird? Just wondering if it's the same design minus the but net/shelf/side tie outs.

    This is the same design, though there are no footbox shelf and mosquito nets. The fabric is the same as Blackbird.

    I don't know if it has a different lay but I felt that the Traveler was much more comfortable than the Blackbird when I compared them side by side at two different hangs. I can't place my finger on it but I do not like the Blackbird when I lay in it. It has great features and craftsmanship, but i just don't like laying in it. The Traveler, on the other hand, felt great and will be the next hammock I purchase.
