    thanks, that is what I was looking for. Just wanted to make sure I am not the only one who finds the Blackbird somewhat uncomfortable.

    Have a 1.1sl BB and 1.1sl Traveler. Have tried various srl lengths (WS adjustable from inside the hammock) and suspension angles. Found what works best for me. Also discovered with a given srl length and angle of hang that the relative flatness of lay, calf pressure and shoulder pressure are close to identical when comparing these two hammocks. Outside of lack of shelf, netting and having some floppy hammock material at the foot and head the hammocks "feel" the same.

    Calf pressure can be eliminated with the right mix of srl length and hang angle.
