3 DYI Tarps & hammocks gift set

Whooooo ..... I am getting to the end of this project and think that I will have my two buddies hammock/tarp/tree hugger/line tensioners/black bishop bag gift packs ready by early Christmas so that they can have a jolly old time in the woods. I have enclosed a picture of the three tarps, the first one I will keep as it is the messiest. They get better as you get to the 2nd and 3rd. Practice is a goooood thang.
Going out myself day after Thanksgiving and hanging for three nights.
I can't wait but I have to for a few more days.
    Truly,
    Shug

That's gonna be a heck of a Christmas gift! Looking good.

    Looks very good!

Did you put a cat on the ridgeline, or is it the tension pulling it down and making it look curved?

    What size are they?

They are pretty close to the size on BlackBishops site..... 12' ridgeline. No cat cut, I suppose it is just the tension.
He gives terrific instructions on his website. I am poor at math so just used a sign-painters eye and sketched the approx. dimensions as close as my addled brain could muster. They stay tight but I made the line tensioners that "Just Jeff" has on his site. Brilliant idea and works......

Good lookin projects! What an intro to hammocking for your buddies - a ready-set homemade kit. Most of us spend a lot of money before we upgrade to the less expensive, higher quality homemade stuff!
