    EnglishSeaDog's Parachute Ripstop on Ebay?

I have noted--as many of you probably have--a listing on ebay, "PARACHUTE RIPSTOP NYLON 10 yd OLIVE GREEN PARA MILITARY." It appears to be 3$/yd, shipped. This is surplus parachute ripstop from England. Has anybody here used this material, and is this a good vendor? The specs of the cloth aren't exact, so it' s hard to know the weight or denier.
    Thanks,

Most of the items I've seen are narrow 36"-48" width's.
If that's what you need for stuff sacks etc. then it's an ok deal. Check the description closely.
Most tarps and hammocks are made from wider material.

And shipping jumps up when you buy more than a couple yards.

They had something I was interested in, and the shipping just turned me off. I'd rather order from someone that sponsors the HF forums. The price probably comes out about the same, the product better, and I know where my money is going to.

I think this thread addresses the same fabric but with a different application in mind. It might be helpful.
