    Letting the coyote run wild.

I just thought I would post up some pics of the TQ and UQ I recieved today from AHE. When I was looking around for pics , I had a hard time time finding what I was looking for. So hopefully this will help out anybody obsessively looking at pics trying to make purchase decisions.
I ordered 3 quilts , the TQ and a New River and a Lost River. I was pretty impressed with shipping , they shipped from Idaho on Friday and made it to PA on Monday. I was pretty happy to notice that when I picked up the 2 boxes with 3 quilts and some other odds and ends that it weighed noticeably less than my issue M.S.S. .
Fit and finish is very good. I like the nice dark coyote. I was worried that the coyote was going to be to light colored but it was perfect. The coyote also matches up nicely with the OD WBBB. I set up the TQ and the New River, for the photos, I have to say they are pretty warm, I tried hanging out in them in the basement to read a book, but they were definitely to warm for that , it was amazing to feel the temp difference when I loosen the UQ up to vent some cool air in . ( yeah I know I`m babbling but these are first quilts ) In all the pics there is a 100lb weight vest in the hammock so I can see what is going on with the suspension.
    Thanks AHE

Excellent looking quilts you got there!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul and the group at AHE are always quick to deliver and do make some very high quality gear. I really like the coyote and should have gotten that in my DIY kits instead of the multicam. I lke the quilts from AHE, I have used my New River UQ on a Clark, Eno Dn and now a Blackbird as well. I hope you enjoy them as much I have enjoyed mine.

They look great Tbone. Glad they made it to you in good shape. One thing just looking it you pictures. Be sure to only snug the end channel cords to much tension can wrinkle the insulation causing an air gap. Be sure to just snug them there should still be some give.

    Looks great.

Love that color--very fetching. And a great place to take a snooze when you are fatigued after hoisting those weights.

If you travel to a desert, make sure you leave a beacon on to find it again.

    Looks good.
