    DIY Fulllength quilt

    Hi Guys!
i have just started making my first UQ to be used with my DD frontline hammock!
I´m using what i think is 1.1 oz ripstop.
The measurements are 230cm long and 160cm wide...
I´ll be filling it with down, taken from old downjackets (cheapo, but it works!)
Pictures will be posted as the work proceeds, but i´m kinda in on hold now for the moment though i underestimated the down-need, so i´m currently on a down-hunt among friends and family =)
What do you think about the measurements?

Sounds a little wide to me... Most Underquilts are about 48inches (120CM) wide...

Here's a chart that compares different commercial quilts:

It´s acutally only the peapod that´s wider...
Humm...maybe i should narrow it down a bit?

If you can, wash the down first to get that loft back, and that might help you get an idea of how much you really need.
