Fantastic Ed! I can almost hear the waves from Buck Lake lapping at the shoreline ... or is that the faucet leaking? I'll be right back ....

Just a thought here, but it would be nice if all of us were to go to the Google Earth thread http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=2142

And either enter your own name and location, or put it on the thread and ask Chuck to do it.

Its nice to look around the country and see all the members of this forum.

A little off Fla Hang topic, but I had good intentions

Thanks Ed. You said that deer hunting is not a problem, hog season for the neighboring Buck Lake Wildlife Management Area is still in effect though. Here is a link to the 2010-2011 hunting area and the different hunt dates: http://www.sjrwmd.com/recreation/huntpdfs/10-11_BuckLake.pdf

I guess as long as we stick inside the recreation area, we don't have to worry about the blaze orange requirement.

It's gonna suck for Florida Hog Hunters near Buck Lake when the Hammock camping hogs are shooting back!

Let me see if I can clear up a misconception that Buck Lake in the Ocala National Forest and Buck Lake WMA are some way in close proximity of one another.

Buck Lake WMA is in the NW corner of Brevard county and is managed by SJRWMD. This WMA as I said is in the NW corner where Brevard, Volusia and Seminole counties intersect. Using google earth and the shortest distance from Buck Lake WMA to Buck Lake in ONF is approximately 50 miles. This being said, I doubt there will be in issues that would concern any of us from Buck Lake WMA.

Just trying to clear that up. So, Flackfizer your wife can rest easy, all is calm

Whoa! Pig Roast? I wish. If anyone is up for roasting a pig, bring it. I have never done one, but would be all ears and helping anyway I could.
    Hint hint hint.

Remember we're also doing a Shrimp Boil Saturday evening.
Sunday BBQ Pig would be wishful thinking
