Do these descender rings look okay ?

I'm after a couple more pairs of descender rings but I know if I go on Paul's site it'll end up costing me fortune again

So a quick google led me to these over this side of the pond ....

    http://www.bigmamaslings.co.uk/zen-c...all-p-228.html

They're rated to the same as the ones I've already got and the colours seem to match those I got before from Paul.

They're made by slingrings.com apparently if anyone can vouch for them ??

That weight rating seems low to me. I've been using these rated at 14kN.

Slingrings have had their champions here in the past. My own preference lies with climbing rated rings. But that's me and I'm no small guy.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I get my descender rings from REI climbing department. SMC descenders, $2.95 and rated to 14 KN. No fancy colors, just plain silver. They can be ordered from REI online as well.

    Cheers KJ

Just gone through their online checkout and it's going to rush me another $20 plus customs to get them over here. If I'm going to do that I'd rather give Paul the money if I'm honest.

Thanks for the heads up though

Oops. My bad. Didn't look at your location before I answered.
Oh well, Paul's descender rings are much cooler looking anyway.

Doesn't see right that you can't get them locally.

How many do you need? I've got some extras I'll send you for the basic cost of shipping. Send me a PM if you want them.
